Partner
As a partner at Belden Capital Partners (BCP), Philip’s responsibilities include day-to-day management of financial activities, deal sourcing and analysis, GSA leasing and lease management, acquisitions and dispositions, and strategic development. At BCP and as a Principal of JLB Capital Partners Philip has over 25 years of experience in real estate and investment banking.
Prior to BCP, Philip served as a principal and Co-Founder of Strategic Government Properties over a 7-year period he constructed a 14-property portfolio of Government Buildings that exceeded 600,000 Sq Ft with an Equity value exceeding $150 million. Previously, he was the principal and Co-Founder of Preferred Government Properties, as well as a principal and the COO of Kaufman Jacobs LLC where he acquired and sold a GSA Portfolio with and asset value of over $500 million, and prior to that he was the Co-Founder of Brio Capital Management LLC. Phil began his career as an investment banking associate at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. Philip earned his B.A. from Colgate University, and his MBA in Finance from Emory University, Gouizueta Business School.

Director of Property Mgt.
As Director of Property Management, Chuck oversees the property managers and their teams. He works closely with individual tenants as well as the GSA to serve their specialized needs, monitor lease administration, budgets, financial performance, and capital projects. Chuck also works with our acquisitions team to help assess potential properties.
Prior to Strategic Government Properties, Chuck served as Property Manager for Imperial Realty, managing a portfolio of 21 mixed-use commercial properties. Before that, Chuck spent five years as the Director of Property Management for Empire Today, and ten years as the Director of Property Management at Gexpro. Chuck managed industrial/commercial portfolios, was responsible for site acquisition, leasing analysis, buildout, relocation management, budgeting, and daily operations. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Roosevelt University, and earned his Real Property Administrator (RPA) Designation from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
